I don't think I'm cut out for cohabitation with more than two people.

I just want my privacy.=/

You told me you wanted to eat up my sadness
Well jump on, enjoy, you can gorge away
You told me you wanted to eat up my sadness
Jump right on
Baby, you've got to be more discerning
I've never known what's good for me
Baby, you've got to be more demanding
I will be yours

What are you holding out for?
What's always in the way?
Why so damn absent-minded?
Why so scared of romance?

Bloc Party concert Thursday!

I'm feeling stabby!

mood: stab stab! stab stab!

I've been having a lot of trouble withdrawing money from ATM machines for the past few weeks, and I thought it was just because I'd been taking out more money than usual since Ali's money was now in my account. Her debit card info got stolen and she found out the day we left for London, then her replacement card was stolen out of the mail, so her mom was just depositing money in my account.

I emailed my mom today so she could check out what was up with the bank, and she replied back saying that I only have $100 available for withdrawal, when just last week both my and Ali's parents put in a lot of money for us for Barcelona. Yep, my card info got stolen too, and the fucker who did it spent nearly all of our funds in four days. My account is frozen and we have to get a fax of my transactions and go to the nearest police station to file a report. I didn't notice anything was off, other than my card not working, because unless you have a British bank account the machines don't give you a slip stating how much you've withdrawn and how much you still have left. And my bank is small and doesn't have an online banking service.

Argh, and I was just thinking about how much I love London and would really like to live here someday if possible. My mood is totally soured now.

Things I miss in America

Well, friends and family, first and foremost. Especially my niece Joey, even though I haven't met her yet.

Fabric class.

SSG Gallery, its orderliness, and my coworkers.

Free refills and condiments.

Economy-sized bath and beauty products.

Waiters and waitresses that aren't rude because they work for tips.

Self-adhesive stamps (did a mailing list for East West today...blech).

London still rocks, though.

*teeth chatter*

So, tomorrow is the last day of the semester. I still have four pages of a five-page ethics essay to write, but instead I'd rather do a little pouring out of my soul.

I leave in one month to live, study, and work in a country I've never been to before. Honestly, I'm fucking freaked out. About living in a foreign place, travelling with only one other person who has never been overseas before, being able to pay for everything, missing my sister having her baby, leaving my mom alone...gah, it's so daunting I can't even coherently form sentences about how excited/nervous I am.

How is everyone else surviving? Hopefully you all got through the snow today and your exams are going well. Maybe I'll get to see some of you over break.
